Accelerating the transition to sustainable agriculture through actionable goals and profitable outcomes.
We offer three distinct categories for transition, all targeting results in the very first crop cycle while ensuring equal or higher profitability.
50% reduction in chemical fertilizers and crop care inputs.
75% reduction of Chemical Fertilizers and Crop Care Inputs.
100% reduction of Chemical Fertilizers and Crop Care Inputs.
All reductions are targeted in the first crop cycle itself, ensuring equal or higher profitability for the farmers at market price of the farm produce.
To be part of this Grand Challenge, input producing companies, their consortium, NGO groups, Start-ups, Cooperatives, Research Institutions, or individuals can participate.
During the first year, participants will demonstrate protocols with top 20 crops in 5 separate 1-acre plots across different agroclimatic zones, guided by ICAR. Demonstrations should be conducted with progressive farmers who are already achieving high profitability with existing practices.
